Result of Public Consultation on "Proposed Policy on Treatment of Revisions to JBA TIBOR Official Rates, etc."

We, General Incorporated Association JBA TIBOR Administration (the chairman: Akihiro Wani) ("JBATA"), had broadly invited comments on "Proposed Policy on Treatment of Revisions to JBA TIBOR Official Rates, etc." over the consultation period from Friday, February 24, 2017 to Tuesday, March 28, 2017. As a result, we have received a comment as described in Appendix 1.
In light of this comment, we had revisited "Key Considerations on Draft Policy on Treatment of Revisions to JBA TIBOR Official Rates, etc.," and revised some requirements of the proposed policy. This policy will be effective from Monday, July 24, 2017. (See Appendix 1 for the details of our consideration.)
We would like to extend our gratitude to your cooperation in considering this policy.
We will continue to commit to enhancing our administration in order to improve the reliability and transparency through the accurate calculation and publication of JBA TIBOR.
