Outsourced Operations

The JBATA has outsourced some of its administrative operations for calculating and publishing the JBA TIBOR to:

NTT DATA Corporation

The following administrative operations are outsourced to NTT DATA Corporation as service provider defined in the JBA TIBOR Operational Rules ("Operational Rules"):

• (i)Compilation of rates submitted by reference banks;
• (ii)Calculation of official rates; and
• (iii)Transmission of official rates to the information providers after the JBATA reviews the rates and approves publication of the rates.

Ippan Shadan Hojin Osaka Bankers Association

The following activity is outsourced to the Ippan Shadan Hojin Osaka Bankers Association as a back-up institution set out in the Operational Rules:

• (i)the activities of reviewing JBA TIBOR and granting the information providers permission to publish JBA TIBOR in a case where the JBATA becomes unable to carry out its JBA TIBOR publication operations.
